Wine'd Down
A Clo3D drape started off with a half scale dress form drape. I first created a strapless contoured princess seamline bodice that fell right under the bustline. The skirt was a gathered rectangle piece for the front and back that hung to mid thigh. A gathered puff sleeve was added by creating fullness in a basic cap sleeve pattern.

The half scale pieces were made and scanned into Clo3D. Adjustments were made to the pattern pieces to ensure correct fit for my size 6 avatar. After all basic properties of the garment were created, elasticity was added to the sleeve shoulder line and bicep lines for drape effects. Piping was added to the bodice seamline and sleeve edges for a detailed effect.

After draping, I choose a Clo Silk Dutchess Satin fabric and applied the Cotton Works print using a color-way Berry Wine.
