I am currently working on my senior collection entitled Velera. This collection consists of 6 garments originally designed and constructed. Inspired by Spanish coastlines, my collection brings freedom and movement to each garment. Fabrics such as crepe gauze, linen and viscose blends allow garments drape and ease.

All garments are initially draped then scanned into ModarisVR8, adjusted and cleaned accordingly. Fabric is then cut on the Lectra Cutter and sewn. Each garment is specially fit for assigned models and made to their measurements.

Currently I have completed 4 out of 6 designs and will present my collection in the Emerging Designers Showcase on April 30th, 2022. I incorporated machine embroidery onto two full garments and plan to add detailed embellishments to others.
